Another September, another project. It seems as if every year, I end up releasing a project in September or October. We are cyclical creatures I suppose. This year, I have a dual release on the way. On September 26, 2024 you will be able to listen to a new album, "Vegas, Baby!," as well as a three track EP, "I Love My City."
I have been hard at work balancing a couple of projects for the better part of a year. I began work on the first few tracks and concept of Vegas Baby! more than a year from the writing of this article. I tend to (as many creatives do) get into creative mode while I'm working on one project and it's hard to keep myself from jumping into others and wanting to work on other concepts as they come up. This was one one of those times. As I was finishing my EP, EDM(ish), I was also working on the album, Return To Halloween Town. PLUS I began to get the idea for, Vegas, Baby!. So, to put it simply, this album has taken a while to come together. Still, it came together beautifully.
To also put it simply, my main goal with this project was to collaborate with fellow Las Vegas based artists. This one evolved from a straight up hip-hop/rap project to another of my, "Multi-Verse," projects (see: Welcome To My Multi-Verse) where I have a lot of instrumentals (from incredible producers), concepts, and styles influenced heavily by other genres as opposed to straight up hip-hop. I'd also be remise if I didn't type out these words: ¡MAYDAY! IS ON THIS EP!!!!!! I had the absolute pleasure and honor of having Wrekonize on Damn Shame from my Express Elevator To Hell: They Cut The Power album which was seemingly my peak as an artist. This time around? We're pumping those rookie numbers UP, BABY! Wrekonize and Bernz blessed me with verses for a remix of an already wonderful track I completed with Priscilla Peaceful with production from K-Oddic.
Stay tuned for more info! I have several videos and articles in the chamber, ready to be posted as we lead up to the release day! I'm super excited to share my vision with the world! Until then, check out my most recent project!
